This new rack system is designed to be used as a work or storage rack for a variety of pre- and post-PCR sample processing applications. The rack also works with other manufacturers’ tray/retainer sets or cycle plates, individual tubes, and eight-tube or twelve-tube strips. The rack is formatted in the standard 8 x 12 microtiter format and indexed A through H vertically and 1 through 12 horizontally for convenient and error-free tube identification. The included natural lids have a non-slip edge to allow safe storage of multiple racks and maximize available bench-top space.
